Workshop: Song: Kraft Co:Lab with Matt Alber, Jolly Wrapper, and Tony Ozier
Overview
We will write, record, and perform an original song in a state-of-the-art recording studio and film a music video together in a supportive group environment. Open to students in 9th – 12th grade with musical abilities interested in pursuing a career as a songwriting performer and music producer. No previous recording experience is necessary but students must:
- Be available for all six sessions
- Submit a brief, candid video expressing and demonstrating what skills and passions they would bring to the collab (email to jordan@bodeckerfound.org)
- Please include links to any recorded works or performances that showcase your abilities

Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays August 16 – August 26, 10AM – 4PM
Plus: One virtual meet-up in the week leading up to our first session (to be scheduled.)

Matt Alber
Matt Alber (he/him) is a Grammy® Award-winning producer, singer/songwriter, filmmaker and public school teaching-artist based in Portland, Oregon. Carrying a heart for social justice, he holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and has been touring professionally as a classical, jazz, pop and dance music artist since 1998.
