Overview

Have you ever wondered how a sneaker becomes a sneaker?

In this workshop, students will explore what it takes to be a footwear designer; how to research and find inspiration for a project. Product Design, Color Design, Material Design, and Graphic Design will all be covered. Each student will have an opportunity to work with a team of designers to create their own shoe. By the end of the workshop students will have created a mockup of their final product.

In addition, students will learn about careers in footwear design through real-world conversations and presentations by working designers.
