Workshop: INTRO to VOICEOVER With Susannah Mars and Adrienne Livingston
Voiceover is the creative application of voice used in a radio, television production, filmmaking, theater, video games and other exciting ways.
In this intensive workshop, Adrienne Livingston and Susannah Mars will create a nurturing space for students to build their skills in the art of voiceover. Over the course of three sessions, two remote and one in-studio, students will explore scripts, build characters, improvise and record original tracks in the Bodecker Foundation’s state-of-the-art Halfling Studio. All are welcome- no previous experience is necessary!

Susannah Mars (she/her) is a lifelong performing artist. She makes her home in the Pacific Northwest, and has appeared in over one hundred productions, concerts and television shows, including Portland Opera’s Sweeny Todd where she was Mrs. Lovett. She has appeared as Eva in Evita, Margaret in The Light In The Piazza, and was Golde in Fiddler on the Roof.
She’s enjoyed all types of voiceover work during her career, including spots for Skamania Lodge, Mount Hood Meadows, Intel, Tri-Met, KinderCare, Microsoft, Mercedes Benz, and others. Adrienne Livingston (she/her) started her voiceover journey in 2016. She’s volunteered for KBOO Community Radio and has voiced many promos for them Currently she focuses on voicing commercials, animation and audio meditation.
She has over 20+ years as a grant-maker, ten years as a grant writer and is excited to help artists learn how to craft competitive grant applications for their projects. www.adriennelivingston.com
