In this hands-on workshop, students will create their own, one of a kind, custom skateboard from start to finish. You’ll come up with ideas, learn design and painting techniques, and unleash your inner artist. You’ll be guided through the process, and learn from a local artist who has created pieces that live all over the world!

My name is Kristina Marie, aka Sk8Marie and I’m excited to work with the next generation of future skateboard artists! What started as a hobby back in Los Angeles over a decade ago, grew into a bigger passion project/side hustle – over 100 boards later! Growing up, some of my friends were skaters so I was inspired by the designs on their skateboards, art I studied in college, and the street art I’d see all over LA. I’ve made boards for clothing lines and restaurants, and even helped build a skatepark in Costa Rica in 2017.
