Overview

In this dynamic camp, students will learn the ins and outs of the professional recording studio, including intro to MIDI and audio production, recording session procedures-concepting, writing and recording, mixdown, editing and mastering. Students will finish the workshop with a basic understanding of all the components required to write, record, and produce a song.

For students interested in producing music in a collaborative, hands-on setting.

Virtual Orientation: Wednesday July 26, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM

In Person Camp: Monday July 31 to Friday August 4, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Daaron Anthony Battle

    Daaron Anthony Battle (he/him) is a Music Supervisor, Production Director, and Creative Artist based in Phoenix, Az. With a passion for the creative arts, and a diverse skill set, Daaron has worked in music, film, live sound, and stage production. A graduate of the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences, Daaron has been working in professional studios for over 20 years as a Producer, and Audio Engineer. Most recently, Daaron earned a Music Supervisor credit for the film “The Un-Hitch King” directed by Irin “Iroc” Daniels, which was released in the fall of 2022.
